EN :: Big Ben. I think, everybody in the world knows this clock and it belongs to the most famous places in London. Ah, I´ve learnt so much about the sights of London at school at my English classes... And I am happy that I could get there finally and see live everything I saw just in the pictures, in the books or in films. As you all probably know, Big Ben is just a part of the Palace of Westminster which is the seat of British Parliament and you also have probably noticed that the clock went silent last summer for the whole 4 years because of reconstruction. That´s why I didn´t have chance to see "Elizabeth Tower" (the official name) in its full beauty so I admired the rest of the Palace. However I have to say that the clock was perfectly visible in the evening after dark when  everything was in the glare of spotlights and the scaffolding wasn´t that obvious. I didn´t want to be upset that the view is not perfect and I admired it all every single second I was near. Moreover, me and my husband had the hotel room on 11th floor and we had an amazing view of Big Ben from our window so I looked at it every time I went to bed and every time I woke up ♥

SK :: Big Ben. Sú to hodiny, ktoré snáď pozná každý na celom svete a patria medzi najznámejšie miesta v Londýne. Ach, koľko som sa ja len učila o londýnskych pamiatkach v škole na angličtine... Až teraz sa mi však konečne podarilo dostať sa tam a naživo vidieť všetko, čo som videla len na obrázkoch, v knihách či vo filmoch. Ako už väčšina z vás vie, Big Ben je len časťou celého Westminsterského paláca, v ktorom sídli birtský parlament a zaiste ste zaregistrovali, že sa zvon minulé leto odmlčal na celé 4 roky, kvôli jeho rekonštrukcii. Nemala som teda možnosť vidieť "Alžbetinu vežu" (ako znie oficiálny názov hovorového Big Benu) vidieť v celej kráse, a tak som sa kochala zbytkom paláca. Treba však povedať, že Big Ben v jeho plnej kráse bolo pekne vidieť hlavne po zotmení, keď bol celý nádherne rozsvietený a lešenie tým pádom tak nejak "zaniklo". Ja som si však pohľad na celú krásu nenechala pokaziť a kochala sa ním každú sekundu, čo som bola na blízku, no a s manželom sme dokonca mali izbu v hoteli na 11. poschodí, odkiaľ sme na Big Ben mali dokonca výhľad, takže som sa pred spaním aj po zobudení na ňho nezabudla chvíľu dívať. ♥

EN :: Nooo, the weather wasn´t that warm to walk around in sweater and skirt, but I left the coat on the stone wall for a while. It would be a sin not to shoot an outfit in this beautiful place. I bought this sweater just a week before our trip to London and I was happy I didn´t leave it in the store as it´s very comfortable and I was warm all the time. The skirt is from Bershka and is one of my favorite. I kept the accessories simple and golden and paired it all with my Gucci bag which was the only bag I had with me. It was the same with the shoes so I chose these Diesel leather ankle boots, perfect for travelling and walking.

London is really beautiful city and this was one of the best trips we have done so far. And what about you? Have you ever been to London?

SK :: Niee, nebolo tam tak teplo, aby som sa prechádzala v svetri a sukni, ale kabát som na chvíľku odložila nabok. Bol by hriech nenafotiť outfit natakomto nádhernom mieste, však? Sveter som si kúpila asi týždeň pred výletom do Londýna a som rada, že som ho v obchode nenechala. Je strašne príjemný a bolo mi v ňom teplo. Sukňu mám z Bershky a rýchlo sa stala jednou z mojich najobľúbenejších. K outfitu som doladila jednoduché zlaté doplnky a Gucci kabelku, ktorá bola mojou spoločníčkou počas celého výletu a zbytočne som si inú nebrala. Tak to bolo aj s topánkami a vsadila som na svoje kožené Diesel členkové čižmy, ktoré boli skvelé na cestovanie a prešla som v nich všetky pamiatky.

Londýn mi učaroval a bol to jeden z najlepších krátkych výletov, aký sme podnikli. A čo vy? Boli ste tam už?
