Long Time No See

EN :: Long time no see! Oh, how I missed this blog... I couldn´t however get to the writing and shooting because after our best holidays on Tenerife I got sick and was coughing and coughing and coughing. Well to be honest - Ireland is not the best destination for living and in addition to that our apartment is cold like a freezer. Even at work is cold and the only thing I do is drinking tea every time I´m there. Let´s just talk about something else though because I think one of five people out there is sick and there are definitely loads of bacilli in the air as well..:)

Anyways my mood is getting better with approaching Christmas time. Christmas Eve is here in less than a month and I don´t know why but I am looking forward to it more than ever. Today I put up my little Christmas tree which is standing next to the fireplace and next to it there is a Santa Claus so the atmosphere is really nice. As soon as the first day of December comes, I will put up our big Christmas tree which will embellish and beautify our living room even more. After that I can´t wait for a beautiful smell of the gingerbread and our traditional cabbage soup and salad for a Christmas dinner... Yummy.

SK :: Dlho sme sa nevideli! Och, ako mi môj blog chýbal... K písaniu a ani k foteniu som sa ale veľmi nedokopala, pretože po našej najlepšej dovolenke na Tenerife som tak trochu ochorela, kašľala a kašľala, trochu sa preliečila a znovu ochorela... Povedzme si pravdu - Írsko nie je jedna z najpríjemnejších a vysnených destinácii na život a nepridáva tomu ani fakt, že v našom byte je zima ako v mrazničke, rovnako ako v mojej práci, v ktorej si denne fičím na čaji. Dosť bolo ale o chorobách, pretože mám pocit, že všade navôkol je jeden z piatich ľudí chorý a ovzdušie sa určite len tak hemží hnusnými bacilmi... :)

Čo ale teší mňa, sú blížiace sa Vianoce. Sú tu už o necelý mesiac a ja ani neviem prečo, ale teším sa na ne viac, ako kedykoľvek predtým. Dnes som už postavila mini vianočný stromček a vedľa neho sa hrdo týči veľká "soško-bábika" Deda Mráza, takže som sa na tú atmošku navnadila ešte viac. Akonáhle príde december, určite nám obývačku skrášli náš veľký stromček a hneď potom aj vôňa medovníčkov a vianočného pečiva, no a všetko to zakončí vôňa kapustnice a šalátu. Mňam. Už aby to bolo!

Red Coat

EN :: Red coat was always one of the pieces I have always dreamed of. In my wardrobe you can find the basic pieces as a black classic peacoat, beige long leather coat, neutral faux-fur coat, khaki and black trench-coats or a black and white snake print coat so I told myself that when I have all the neutrals I need, I want to buy the red one as well. In my vision it was a bit more feminine - longer, warmer with an A silhouette though but it doesn´t matter! I found this one suddenly - shorter, thinner, and a blazer style more appropriate for autumn. Despite all of that I love it and I think it goes perfectly not only with this rebel outfit and Dr. Martens shoes, but maybe also with some nice ankle booties. I decided to pair it with my most worn denim skirt and my new top with denim sleeves and I finished it off with my favorite Furla bag which goes perfectly with the whole look. By the way, this was my second time I wore these boots and I have to say I don´t regret buying them as they are the best shoes for walking in bad weather or cold.

So do you have your red coat as well? I really love them fluffy teddy coats and I saw them on many bloggers and I absolutely love how Aimee Song styled it many times on her blog and Instagram. If you want any inspiration, just check it out as she paired the red teddy coat very nicely with denim and the pink one with all black everything. My husband wouldn´t be happy if I bought teddy coat because he likes more feminine pieces on me, but I know it would be a great piece for winter and I would snuggle in and would be warm all winter haha. Well maybe I will have a look at one when January sales will start  I think ;)

SK :: Červený kabát bol vždy jedným z kúskov, ktorý som mala vysnený. V skrini mi visia základné kúsky ako čierny klasický dvojradový kabát, hnedý kožený kabát, béžový kožuch, khaki ale aj čierny trenčkot, čierno-biely kabát s hadím vzorom a vždy som si vravela, že keď už budem mať zbierku základných kabátov v neutrálnych farbách hotovú, prvé po čom vyštartujem bude lov na červený kabát. V mojej predstave bol síce viac "ženský", možno trošku do áčka, možno trochu teplejší a dlhší, ale to vôbec nevadí! Našla som znenazdajky v obchode práve tento - jesenný, tenší, kratší a sakového strihu. Aj tak ho zbožňujem, pretože sa dá kombinovať nie len takto rebelsky s martenskami, ale určite by vyzeral pekne aj s nejakými čižmičkami na opätku. Ja som sa ale rozhodla práve pre tento outfit s mojou najčastejšie nosenou denimovou sukňou a konečne som mala možnosť zakomponovať do outfitu môj "nový" top s denimovými rukávmi. Furla sa mi k outfitu dokonale hodila a outfit aspoň trochu rozbila svojím vzorom. Mimochodom, toto bolo druhýkrát, čo som na sebe mala svoje nové martensky a musím povedať, že ich kúpu vôbec neľutujem a stali sa jednými s mojich najobľúbenejších topánok na chladnejšie dni.

Tak máte aj vy svoj červený kabát? Mne sa ešte veľmi páčia tie huňaté macíkovské kabáty - tzv. teddy kabáty, ktoré sú trendy už od minulej sezóny. Červený som zahliadla u Style of Becca, ale aj u mojej obľúbenej Aimee Song, ktorá svoj červený teddy kabát kombinovala s denimom a hnedými kotníkovými čižmami s hadím vzorom a svoj ružový dala v mega kombinácii s celočiernym outfitom a teraz tak trendy kowbojskými čižmami. Môj manžel by ale nad ním asi ohŕňal nosom, pretože viem, že jemu sa na mne páčia viac ženské kúsky, ale ja si viem predstaviť, že by ma ten huňatý kabát zahrial v zime lepšie, ako čokoľvek iné, takže sa možno predsalen po nejakom v januárových zľavách poobzerám ;)
